Last October 6, 2011, on the occasion of the 2nd Technological Reactivation Meeting held in Ávila, Fundación Dédalo presented the project “ICT-VN: ICT Value Networks”, implemented within the Interreg IVC Community Initiative and co-funded under the ERDF. |
These Technological Reactivation Meetings are a joint initiative of the Department for Development and the Environment of the government of Castilla y León and Fundación CEDETEL. Any person may attend the meetings (nine in all, one per province), held to bring technologies closer to citizens by encouraging new collaboration schemes among regional players.
Rodrigo Zardoya, Director of Fundación Dédalo, presented the project that is being implemented since 2010: ‘ICT Value Networks (ICT-VN)’ seeks to enhance cooperation networks and to promote the use of ICTs by SMEs, with the purpose of fostering regional development in the trade, tourism and agri-food sectors.
Fundación Dédalo put forward the working methodology that it has developed to identify and selecting success stories at European level, and provided a detailed description of a selection of best practices aiming to promote regional development through ICTs. Fundación Dédalo envisages participating in the next Meeting to be held in Segovia next November.
