During the celebration of the Open Days 2012, taking place from 8 to 11 October 2012
the Interreg IVC Programme will play a leading role at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels. These Open Days are an opportunity for hundreds of national, regional and local representatives and authorities from all around Europe to get together and share experiences oriented to the development of European regions.
The flagship event shall be attended by Mr Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for Regional Policy, and Mr Ramon Luis Valcárcel Siso, President of the Committee of the Regions.
This meeting also seeks to highlight the importance of the Interreg IVC Programme, funded by the ERDF, to promote the exchange and transfer of knowledge across Europe, focusing on the efforts made by agenda and public policy makers.
Fundación Dédalo is attending the meeting on behalf of the ICT Value Networks Project (ICT-VN), as lead partner. The purpose of this initiative is to promote regional development strategies of small enterprises, through the use of new technologies, based on the exchange of best practices among the eight regions participating in the project.
It is important to stress the presence of Fundación Dédalo and the participation of the ICT-VN Project – representing the region of Navarre at these Open Days, considering the impact of the event and the visibility at European level of the work being conducted within the region.
