INTRODUCTION
This is an initiative of the Navarra's Government included into the '2nd Plan for the Development of Information Society and the Telecommunications'.
One of the three strategical objectives of this Plan is to promote the Information Society and the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) specially focused on those who have difficulties to access to the technologies, in order to close the 'digital divide'.
BENEFICIARIES
This program allows the access to basic training of Internet and Computer skills to the third age and women.OBJECTIVES
- To promote the use of New Technologies among people who have special difficulties to access to the Information Society.
- To acquire new skills in the use of the ICT.
- To create spaces of cooperation and knowledge.
- To organize training actions in rural areas.
The training actions consists of 20 hours, 2 hour per day during two weeks, and are free of charge. Each activity will have from 8 to 15 people, and the monitor gives one manual and one CDROM, that contains all the contents of the course
COLLABORATION
This program is being executed by local agents of all the region and that's why Dedalo Foundation is the entity in charge for organizing the training actions in the South of Navarra.
